Cheltenham Ladies Day: What To Wear

Of course, at Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Festival, it’s all about looking good and while there’s no strict dress code, people usually dress for the occasion, with men wairing suits, tailored overcoats and often top hats, while the hat is an essential part of attire for ladies. Smart hats and fascinators are hugely popular at Cheltenham, while when it comes to dresses, the likes of cocktail dresses and smart trouser suits are popular. There is no requirement for this, though and there is no dress code. Of course, do remember it is March and it can still be cold. There will be dress codes in some enclosures, with the more formal settings requiring men to wear jackets and so forth. This is noted on the Cheltenham Festival website in the relevant sections for each enclosure or hospitality option.
