1:25 Doncaster
The 1:25 is a decent Class 2 handicap for the stayers over 1m6f. The one for me is WISE EAGLE (8/1) EW. He appears to have really turned a corner on his last two starts winning both in taken fashion. He’s proven over this trip and I like the booking of Daniel Tudhope to do the steering. Wise Eagle is only 5 years of age and is a lot more unexposed than most and I think he can take this rise in class in his stride.2:00 Doncaster
The 2:00 race is the Flying Scotsman’s Stakes, a listed contest over 7f. I can’t get away from NOSTRUM (8/11) here. The son of Kingman made a really impressive debut at Sandown powering clear to win by 3L. It’s always a promising sign when a Michael Stoute horse wins first time out and he’s bound to come forward from that debut effort. As long as he’s 100% after a small setback, I think he’ll prove too good for this lot.2:35 Doncaster
The 2:35 race is the Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes over 5f. I think THE PLATINUM QUEEN (13/8) NAP will win this. I don’t think she’s the best horse in the race truth be told, I rate Trillium very highly but over 5f, I think the selection will have too much speed and will make all. She has substance to her form which resulted in a fine second place last time out in the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes. A repeat bid will be enough I feel.3:10 Doncaster
Next up we have the Doncaster Cup, a Group 2 for the top stayers over 2m2f. I think Trueshan wins but there is no value. Therefore, I’ll take ISLAND BRAVE (50/1) EW (or betting without fav). He was a good winner for the column last weekend at Haydock at a nice price and I’m hoping he gets his own way in front again here. He’s a gutsy horse that is tough to pass on a going day and that win last time out was his best performance this campaign. This is of course a huge step up, but I’m hoping he can continue to the momentum with a brave effort here. 33/1 3 places will do.3:45 Doncaster
The 3:45 is a wide-open extended 6f handicap to end proceedings on ITV. It’s MUMS TIPPLE (7/1) for me here. He has bounced back to a decent level this season getting his head back in front over at Newmarket last month. He was unlucky not to win a competitive handicap at Ascot last time out going down by a neck in second. Ryan Moore gets back on board which is an obvious positive and I think this extended 6f trip will prove spot on for him.How to get £45 in Free Bets
